The idea for Music Factory came to life on April 2, 2017, when a few of us held an event to showcase our budding musical skills. It was then that we realized the importance of giving our talents a greater purpose. Guided by my mother’s mentorship, we launched the band and began collaborating with the Green Shakti Foundation, particularly their Blood Donation initiative, Donor on Call. Committed to making a positive impact through music, we started providing Music Therapy sessions to children in the Oncology Department of the Children’s Hospital in Sector 30, Noida. This experience showed us the profound healing power of music and its ability to bring comfort and joy to those in need. Our partnership with the Green Shakti Foundation further extended to the Namami Gange Initiative, where we used our musical abilities to raise awareness about the importance of cleaning and preserving the Ganges. As our band grew, we welcomed over 15 musically inclined students, all under our mother’s leadership and mentorship. Together, we engaged in various social causes, such as participating in cleanliness drives with the Noida Authority as part of the Swachhata Abhiyan and supporting Acid Attack Survivors through our collaboration with the Chhanv Foundation. Through our music and community engagement, Music Factory has become a platform for young musicians to use their talents for meaningful causes, creating a ripple effect of positive change in society.
