My journey with social consciousness began in 2015, when, I had the opportunity to recite a poem on environmental degradation at an event held at the India Habitat Centre. That day, an interaction with changemakers left a lasting impression on me and quietly set the tone for everything that was to follow.
Soon after, together with my friend Aryan—who also shares a deep passion for social service—we began actively participating in environmental and civic initiatives. At the age of nine, we realized that our love for music could be more than a personal pursuit; it could become a tool for social change. We didn’t want to perform for applause—we wanted music to become a bridge. A way for privileged children like us to connect with, support, and uplift others. We envisioned music as a medium to raise awareness, offer healing, and include those often left on the margins.
That vision led to the creation of Music Factory in 2017. What began as a small band under the guidance of my mother has now grown into a vibrant community of over 30 young volunteers—united by a shared purpose: to use empathy, creativity, and a sense of responsibility to drive meaningful change.
This journey, which began with small, heartfelt steps, has grown into a powerful movement. And as we continue walking this path, I look forward to the many ways we will serve, grow, and inspire—together.
